December 14 Update
Pflumm Road, from 143rd to 151st, was opened to traffic in early December.
All side street connections to Pflumm are open, except Summit St. Intermittent lane drops should be expected until the overall project is complete – which is projected for Spring 2023.
Work will continue in the area, as sidewalks, streetlights, medians, sodding, and landscaping are completed.
September 9 Update
At the Contractor’s request, the City has decided to move forward with extending Phase 2 to include the majority of the previously planned Phase 3. This will allow the Contractor to install nearly all of the Pflumm driving surface between the 143rd and 151st intersections prior the end of 2022. This will allow most of Pflumm to be open to traffic for Winter 2022-2023.
Due to material shortages, signal materials needed for both the 143rd & Pflumm and 151st & Pflumm intersection improvements are not anticipated to be delivered prior to 2023. The City is currently anticipating this work for early 2023, pending material delivery and as weather allows.
The City will provide updates as the schedule for this material delivery becomes more clear.

August 2 Update
After delays due to availability of waterline materials, the City’s contractor, VF Anderson, is proceeding with the Phase 1 construction. We expect to transition from Phase 1 to Phase 2 between the end of August and the middle of September. During this transition, Phase 1 will open to traffic, and Phase 2 will close to all traffic. As a reminder, the limits of the Phase 2 closure are from the south side of 147th Terr to the south side of Summit St. Please see the Phasing Plan under the Project Documents for more information. As we get closer to a firm date we will post notifications and communicate dates of the phase change. Please be sure to adjust your driving routes as necessary when Phase 1 opens to traffic and Phase 2 is closed. Posted detour routes will remain.
Phase 2 is scheduled to open to traffic prior to the end of Fall.
The City will continue to work with the contractor to communicate any more impacts due to material delays and continue to evaluate best phasing options as necessary throughout construction.

May 17 Update
The City’s contractor, VF Anderson, has experienced some industry wide material delays that have impacted our construction schedule. The City has been working diligently with the contractor to find solutions and alternatives, and the contractor now plans to start work the week of May 16.
Pflumm Rd. will be closed for Phase 1 construction activity on May 23 from north of 151st to south of 147th Terr. through mid-summer. Detour routes will be posted on-site.
The City will work with the contractor to communicate any more impacts due to material delays and continue to evaluate best phasing options as necessary throughout construction.
