If you are planning a project that involves digging, you are required to call in Utility Location Services. Digging without calling can disrupt service to an entire neighborhood, harm you and those around you, and potentially result in fines and repair costs. Personal injury, dangerous environmental conditions, and extensive property damage can be avoided if underground utilities are located before you dig.

2. Schedule a City of Olathe Water and Sewer Locate (Only required for digging projects utilizing excavation equipment—not needed for hand-digging projects)

• City of Olathe utility location services are only available during normal business hours and not available during City-observed holidays.
• If you require a locate for irrigation in street medians or right-of-way areas, contact Mike Katzer (913-971-9725) at least two business days in advance.
• WaterOne provides water service to some of the residences within the City of Olathe. If WaterOne is your water service provider, submit a WaterOne Location Request.
