Back-Ups

• Crews will respond to determine if and/or where a blockage has occurred.
• Crews will make repairs if the blockage is located in the sewer main.
• Property owners are responsible for repairs if the blockage is located in the service line.

Odors

• Pour water into all drains, specifically drains not often used, if sewer odors occur.
• Property owners may need to hire a plumber to address the issue if odors persist.

Fats, rags, oils and grease (FROG) should never be poured down drains. FROG is the leading cause of slow drains, backups and overflows in the sewer system.
