Two boy scouts stand with their backs to the camera and salute the Kansas and United States flag in the Olathe council chambers.

The City of Olathe hosts two Scouting Open Houses each year to give Scouts the opportunity to learn more about their local government, their community, and the importance of civic engagement.

Scouts will have a chance to ask the Mayor questions, meet police officers and firefighters, and get a behind the scenes look at how their city government operates.

The next open house will be Sept. 19, 2024 at 6 p.m. at Olathe City Hall, 100 E. Santa Fe Street. Please fill out the form below to reserve your spot. For any questions, please email Assistant to the Mayor Liz Ruback.

Olathe is a great place to be a scout!
