The Olathe Police Department, along with the Lenexa and Overland Park police departments, allow school bus drivers to file complaints regarding school bus “flybys,” or incidents where vehicles drive past a stopped school bus with red flashing lights activated and stop sign extended.

School bus drivers must complete this online form for incidences that occur within the City of Olathe. Police action may be taken based on your observation of the violation. Action can only be taken if the form is completely filled out and the school bus driver who filed the complaint is willing to appear in court.

Please do not allow “flybys” to distract you from the safe loading and unloading of students.
