The Olathe Parks and Recreation Youth Sports Advisory Committee aims to encourage sportsmanship in youth sports programs by supporting the Parks and Recreation Department with programming recommendations.
Responsibilities of the Committee include reviewing rules and policies, deliberating and acting on formal protests, conducting postseason evaluations, recommending action on special requests, conducting hearings on incidents, and other responsibilities determined to be appropriate.
To bring consistency to the committee a commitment of one or two years is suggested. The Youth Sports Advisory Committee shall consist of an odd number of members with a minimum of five.
Meetings will be held as needed.
