Olathe Future Fire Station Site EvaluationsThe 2023 Future Fire Station Site Evaluation was a Council-approved third-party assessment of six locations. The evaluation included considerations such as site topography, geotechnical review, environmental impact, existing infrastructure, planning and zoning, site layout flexibility (size, easements, etc.) and adjacent roads. |

Fire Station Location and Optimization ReportThe 2014 Fire Station Location and Optimization Report is an analysis of existing conditions and future needs. Current conditions were assessed by studying community risk data such as call loads, population densities and existing home and business vulnerabilities. Future needs were determined through the examination of forecasted call volumes and population densities and by studying future land use and growth area build-out projections. This comprehensive study is vital to create a reliable picture of the credible coverage challenges faced today and in the future. |

They are the acceptable norms against which the quality of crew performance can be measured. CPBs reflect the strategy, tactics and tasks that we employ during incidents. ISO collects and evaluates information from communities in the U.S. on their structure fire suppression capabilities. The data is analyzed using Fire Suppression Rating Schedule and then a Public Protection Classification. |
