Mahaffies' Independence Day Celebration activities may include:

*Weather Statement* Activities take place rain or shine! The Reading of the Declaration, patriotic music, and the cannon firing take place under the picnic shelter. Please dress for the weather and muddy ground conditions. Thank you for understanding! 

• A Reading of the Declaration of Independence followed by cannon fire at 12 p.m., and 2 p.m.
• Meet Lady Columbia and Uncle Sam
• Play Vintage Base Ball at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. - Click here to review rules of the game
• Cookstove demonstrations
• Mahaffie Farmhouse open to visit
• Ice cream, root beer, and root beer floats available for purchase.
