• Scouts can earn a special Mahaffie patch during this program.
• Ride the stagecoach, learn about 1860s life in Olathe, and enjoy fall harvest activities.
• Two sessions available: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
• All activities are self-guided and there are Mahaffie staff/volunteers at each activity station.
• Cost is $7/scout, additional siblings, ages 5-11 are $5, children ages 4 & under are free. Accompanying adults are free, if accompanying adults want to ride the stagecoach, stagecoach rides are $2.
• Registration required and payment is due the day of the program. Register here.
• On the day of the program, please check in at the Heritage Center, pay your admission and pick up your map of activities. 
• You are welcome to bring a picnic.

• 10: 30, 12:30 - Phrenology
• 11:00, 1:00- Sorghum pressing
• 11:30, 1:30  - Gun talk
• 12:00 - Chuckwagon Voting
• 2:30 - Vintage Baseball

Throughout the Day:

• Make a wooden wagon, $5 per wagon
• Make a cup and ball, $4
• Make an S hook in the blacksmith shop, $4 per hook, ages 8 & up
• Add your stitches to a quilt
• Shell corn
• Make an 1860s style kite, $4 per kite
• Learn to play the card game Faro
