Watching a living history demonstration is fun, but wouldn't it be better to try it for yourself? You're invited to campout at Mahaffie, 1860s Style!
You'll follow the path left by travelers of long ago by cooking your meals over a campfire with the help of Mahaffie staff, and helping with farm chores.
Camping at Mahaffie includes:
- 1860s clothing rental
- Dinner
- Breakfast
- Activities
- Participating in the sorghum harvest
- Digital portrait of your group
Participants may choose to rent an 1860s tent and tick for $15 per participant, or bring their own tent.
Check-in is from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, October 8 and guests may stay as late as 4 p.m. on October 9.
Registration is required and must be complete by September 24. Register here.
Cost is $59 per participant. Mahaffie members have a special rate of $49 per participant.
