Winter CAN be fun and exciting!

 Join us for a horse-drawn sled ride at Mahaffie!

Due to social distancing guidelines, we are offering sled rides at a flat rate of $25. Each ride can take 1 to 8 people.

• Bundle Up and take a Horse Drawn Sled Ride Friday, February 19, 2021, 3 to 5:30 p.m.
• Sled rides last approximately 5 to 7 minutes on the historic Mahaffie grounds. Your ride begins and ends at the Heritage Center. 
• Reservations are required and are on a first come, first serve basis. If you need assistance making your reservation over the phone, please call 913.971.5111*. Payment is due at the time of registration. Times are approximate but you are reserved for a sled ride. No walk-in registrations on the day of the sled rides are allowed. 
• The first ride is 3 p.m. and the last ride leaves at 5:30 p.m. Please arrive at the Heritage center ten minutes before your departure time. You are welcome to enjoy refreshments and the exhibits in the Heritage Center before or after your sled ride (included in the fee).

*Mahaffie will be open on Thursday, February 18 and Friday, February 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
