Scouts can enjoy spring farming activities, such as sheep shearing and planting at their own pace. At the end of their visit, scouts may pick up their Mahaffie patch from the Heritage Center!
Other activities may include:
- Blacksmith demonstrations
- Stagecoach rides (grounds conditions and weather permitting)
- Visiting the Mahaffie House
- Visiting exhibits in the Heritage Center and baby animals in the Agricultural Heritage Livestock Barn.
- Registration is required.
- Two sessions will be available: 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m.
- Cost is $7 per scout, additional non-scout siblings are $5. One accompanying adult per paid scout will have free admission, but will be charged $2 if they would like to ride the stagecoach. Additional adults are $7. Payment is due the day of the program.
*Per Public Health Order of the Johnson County (KS) Local Health Officer, Mahaffie will require masks to be worn when visiting.
