Mahaffie staff members have been working with the Olathe School District to align these free weekly lessons with Kansas curricular standards. This week the lesson is Cinco de Mayo.

The optional field trip opportunity is offered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Mahaffie's historic grounds with activities aligned to the weekly Nearpod lesson to help students answer a question related to the content.

Admission for students is $5. One adult will be admitted free with each paid student. The adults admitted free may choose to pay $2 for a stagecoach ride. Additional adults are $5. Children ages four and under are free. Picnics are encouraged!
