It's spring on the Mahaffie Farm! April showers bring May flowers and if there is rain in the forecast, be sure to wear rain gear and find your boots! Activities may include sheep shearing, washing and skirting the wool, and planting Mrs. Mahaffie's garden.

Other activities may include: 

• Blacksmith demonstrations
• Visiting the Mahaffie House
• Visiting exhibits in the Heritage Center and baby animals in the Agricultural Heritage Livestock Barn.
• All activities included with regular site admission: $9/adults, $7/children ages 5-11, children 4 & under are free. Olathe residents receive $2 off admission.
• Mahaffie Members admitted free.
