What's better than a day with a horse? How about a day with the Mahaffie horses! You will help staff feed, groom, and care for our horses. You will explore the many ways horses were part of life in the 1860s - riding, driving, hauling, and power!

Campers need to bring a lunch and water bottle. Closed toe shoes and long pants are required; boots are recommended.

Advance registration is $30 per participant and required as space is limited.

Parents, drop off your kids at the Heritage Center and enjoy a day to yourself!
