It’s almost time for Winter Teen Bash on Friday, Jan. 3, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Olathe Community Center (1205 E. Kansas Rd.) Students in grades six through eight will enjoy refreshments, a DJ, swimming, activities in the gym, and an obstacle course. Video games and table-top games will be available in the community rooms courtesy of the Olathe Public Library.

The event is free with a donation of two canned food items to be given to the Salvation Army food pantry. Check-in is at 6:15 p.m. in the lobby. To save time, parents or guardians can fill out the waiver in advance and bring it with them to the event. Registration is available online.
