The City of Olathe and Olathe Public Library will host a ground breaking ceremony for the new Indian Creek Library from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25 at 16100 W. 135th St.
The ceremony (9 to 9:30 a.m.) will begin with comments from Mayor Michael Copeland, Library Director Emily Baker, Library Board Chair Tom Glinstra, and representatives from Gould Evans and McCownGordon. Following the brief remarks, there will be complimentary pancakes from Chris Cakes and children’s activities (9:30 to 11 a.m.).
Construction on the new Indian Creek Library is anticipated to be completed in fall 2019. Visit OlatheLibrary.org for more information.
