The City of Olathe invites our surrounding residents, organizations, and business owners to attend a neighborhood meeting on Sept. 26th at 6:00 p.m. in the City of Governor’s Room at Olathe City Hall (100 E. Santa Fe St.). City staff will be available to discuss a City initiated rezoning of 100 E Santa Fe St., 100 W Santa Fe St. and 200 W Santa Fe St to a new Downtown Core (D) designation.
The rezoning effort is a continuation of the City’s Plan Olathe comprehensive plan implementation. The guiding vision for the city identifies the future land use for the properties as Urban Center/Downtown. Additionally, the City is updating the Envision Olathe Downtown Plan to reflect the current conditions, goals and opportunities within Downtown Olathe.
