The Olathe Fire Department invites all area children to bring their bikes to the annual Helmet Head Bike Rodeo on Sunday, April 30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot located between Olathe Medical Center and the Doctors Building I (20333 W. 151st Street). Kids 15 and under will receive a FREE bike helmet while supplies last - all parents must be accompanied by a child. Spanish and sign language interpreters will be available courtesy of Olathe Medical Center.

Some visuals at the event include:

• Bicycle safety inspections.

• Kids getting fitted with bike helmets by firefighters and paramedics.

• Children riding a bicycle safety course with their new helmets.
