Olathe’s Human Relations Commission and the Dialogue Institute of Kansas City are proud to partner and host an educational Ramadan iftar, or fast-breaking dinner. This community-building event will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Olathe City Hall on Monday, May 20.
People of all faiths are invited to join members of the local Muslim community as they share information and promote cross-cultural understanding. The event presents an opportunity for community members and neighbors to learn about and alongside each other.
A complimentary meal will be provided at sundown, immediately following a brief educational presentation about the history and traditions of the holiday. Families and children are welcome.
