The Olathe Human Relations Commission (OHRC) will host a conversational and interactive continuing education forum on LGBTQ history and culture on Monday, Nov. 26, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the City of Governors Room at Olathe City Hall (100 E Santa Fe St.)
The workshop introduces LGBTQ terminology, with a focus on the transgender community to promote awareness and understanding, and to provide local and national resources.
The event will also include a Q&A session. Forum presenters include:
- Inoru M. Wade, LGBTQ+ Policy Research Analyst from the University of Kansas School of Public Affairs and Administration
- Samantha Ruggles, Executive Director of the Kansas City Center for Inclusion.
