In celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of James 'Beatty' Mahaffie, we are collaborating with the Olathe Civic Theater Association (OCTA) for an evening of food and fun for the whole family! Lucinda Mahaffie drives her carriage to Olathe for a birthday present and gets 'stuck' in a roundabout.
- This old-fashioned melodrama takes place on the grounds of the historic Mahaffie farm under the new picnic shelter and is one hour.
- Ticket price is $10/person ages five & up. All participants ages five & up will need a ticket and all ages welcome.
- Ticket price includes visiting 1860s living history at Mahaffie before or after the show only on Sun. Apr. 29.
- Tickets can be purchased at Mahaffie, or online.
- The day of the performance, please park in the parking lot near the Mahaffie House, not the Heritage Center, signs will direct parking.
- Proceeds go to Title I field trip scholarships to Mahaffie and maintenance of the historic building at OCTA.
- In case of inclement weather or conditions on Sun. Apr. 29, and the event needs to be cancelled, tickets will not be refunded. Thank you.
