In celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of James 'Beatty' Mahaffie, we are collaborating with the Olathe Civic Theater Association (OCTA) for an evening of food and fun for the whole family! Lucinda Mahaffie drives her carriage to Olathe for a birthday present and gets 'stuck' in a roundabout.
- When you attend the show, please park in the parking lot near the Mahaffie House. Signs and parking attendants will direct parking.
- Dinner will be served after the performance.
- A limited number of walk-up tickets are available. Credit cards accepted for walk-up ticket sales.
- Root Beer will be for sale for $2 (plus tax), bottled water for $1, and popcorn for $1. Credit card sales accepted.
- This old-fashioned melodrama takes place on the grounds of the historic Mahaffie farm under the new picnic shelter and is one hour.
- Ticket price is $20/person ages five & up. All participants ages five & up will need a ticket and all ages welcome.
- Ticket price includes a BBQ dinner to enjoy after the 5 p.m. show.
- Tickets can be purchased at Mahaffie, or online.
- The day of the performance, please park in the parking lot near the Mahaffie House, not the Heritage Center, signs will direct parking.
- Proceeds go to Title I field trip scholarships to Mahaffie and maintenance of the historic building at OCTA.
- In case of inclement weather or conditions on Sat. Apr. 28, and the event needs to be cancelled, tickets will not be refunded. Thank you.
